I have been a Registered Childminder since 2011 and am married to Ben. We have three teenage children and a dog.


Based in Curry Rivel, near Langport (Taunton, Somerset) I care for children from 3 months to starting school and am passionate about providing children with a safe, loving and supportive home-from-home environment for their time away from parents. We know that children learn best through play and exploration when they are happy and relaxed and I spend loads of time outdoors believing that being outside is one of our richest learning environments.

I hold current Paediatric First Aid certificates and have attended the relevant Safeguarding (Child Protection) and Food Hygiene courses. I have a Level 3 in Childcare, am a member of PACEY (Professional Association for Childcare and Early Years) and hold current Public Liability Insurance. I also attend regular conferences, courses and Early Years networking groups. In the past I have run two parent and toddler groups and have led children’s work at our church.

When I am not childminding, I enjoy spending time with family, cooking, gardening and walking the dog.

I have trained as a Breastfeeding Mother Supporter and can provide help with a range of breastfeeding queries, including weaning, continuing to breastfeed when working and expressing milk.

I am food hygiene rated 5 (Very Good) by the Food Standards Agency   Foundation Years   Ofsted registered childminder
