Children need time, space, encouragement and nurture to allow them to develop confidence, resilience, empathy and relationship skills to successfully navigate their world. I provide a safe, welcoming, inclusive and nurturing childcare environment and, similar to the Scandinavian approach to childhood, I promote slow, nature- based, child-led curiosity supported by calm, loving and thoughtful adult interactions. I work to inspire children in my care to grow in independence and resilience and to care for each other and nature whilst developing effective learning characteristics to enable them to thrive in their next steps. My Christian faith underpins my modelling of tolerance, kindness and respect as I provide a range of real-life experiences and a language-rich environment.
With me, children have the opportunity to spend much time outdoors in all weathers, free from the over-stimulation of technology. Whether we are exploring and gardening at home or at our allotments, having picnics and adventures in the local fields and woods or challenging ourselves at a nearby play park, I support children to take calculated risks, hone physical skills, develop emotional resilience and build their communication and interpersonal skills.
I have places available on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday during term-time. If you would like to discover more of what I can offer your child, please message or call me to arrange a visit.
